They're also high IQ, introverted, and extremely high trust! Super epic compared to other populations. At the same time they have a hidden warlike side

19th-century Hajnalis BTFO the Japanese on every reasonable metric. And also, they still do exist; there is still continuity. You only need a small population and the right selection pressures to kickstart another renaissance.

Hmmm. That's a difficult one. I like both Ashkenazi Jews and Germans, but unfortunately according to this history book I'm reading they don't get along. I wish more groups could get along so we could all benefit from their different strong points.

If we go by extinct ones, I had a soft spot for the Cathars

Thankfully they seem to get along today. Germany sends a lot of money to Israel to say sorry for Hitler.

Most people probably think of the Cathars as a purely religious group, but of course we know they were a race. I haven't read much on them though
