Probably not, size correlates with IQ around .4 and smart people have measurably bigger skulls on average.
Maybe then at some level we may need to outsource intelligence, and create things like massive data center.
Increase in size could just be evolutionarily easier than becoming smarter at the same size brain. That said, head size makes giving birth much harder which serves as evidence that our head/brain size increase over time was both needed and worth it for higher IQ (or that denser brains are just that much more difficult to evolve).
We would have to evolve for millions of years for that range to be even a minority in the population, intelligence is maladaptive across nature, eugenic selection is the exception not the rule in nature, why dont cephalopods and tardigrades evolve eugenic traits even though they are capable of space faring civilizations?
