The more I read, the more plausible intelligent design seems and the less reasonable “theistic evolution” seems. We’re supposed to just buy that enough random mutations occurred to create the exact sequences needed for new complex structures and body plans? Even a time scale of millions of years doesn’t make it more realistic when you consider how vanishingly unlikely a gain-of-function mutation is at all, let alone one that puts creatures on a new path to speciation. I know abiogenesis is a separate question, but when you learn how virtually impossible it is for biomolecules to form from nonliving soup in the first place, let alone form the transcription-translation machinery that allows cells to perform their functions and reproduce, it seems natural to accept that whatever force outside nature that produced life also had a hand in producing stable “kinds” of life to set the stage for humans.

Intelligent design is so retarded, all arguments boil down to muh complexity, it looks difficult to assemble all these molecules therefore God. Read anything about maximum power principle and autocatalytic cycles. Though I know that militant atheism is also dumb because religiosity is extremely heritable, good to chastise women and console/moralize the masses. Most atheist women are degenerate whores that want to be slutty without feeling guilty and proles act in the same fashion under similar circumstances.

Yes, I’ve taken high school biology too. What your bio class didn’t tell you is that the applicability of the Miller-Urey experiment has undergone serious challenges the more we learn, rescued only by new post-hoc hypotheses that introduce new problems.

For one, the early Earth atmosphere was not actually strongly reducing and had more oxygen, carbon dioxide, and water vapor than this experiment assumed, making the direction of these reactions implausible. Biologists then postulated that they could’ve happened in the reducing environment of hydrothermal vents, but that’s an aqueous environment, and it’s even more implausible that such chain-building reactions could’ve happened there and the chains wouldn’t have dissolved.

Critics have also pointed out that the Miller-Urey experiment produced both left-handed and right-handed molecules in equal concentrations; actual life needs 100% left-handed molecules. These fragile biomolecules don’t naturally undergo autocatalytic cycles or “selection” for stability. What genetic sequences need in order to reproduce is a whole system of transcription-translation machinery that secular biologists can’t even try to explain as the product of random mutation and selection. Mutations just happened to produce three-dimensional folded protein structures that would produce a chain with a specific amino acid for each sequence of three nucleotides? The honest answer is that that couldn’t have happened, not even over a million years.

I was thinking of the same thing, why would God create niggers, and Christians have this fetish with niggers, because that is the only part of the world where Christianity is growing.

God can be both intelligent and aloof to human niggerdom. Arguing for an intelligent God doesnt mean one needs to justify Christian characterizations of God.

The the simplicity of the world, rather than its complexity, is the better argument for intelligent design. I think the cause of existence is probably intelligent because chaos is much easier to create, and more complicated, than order. I would expect an unintelligent creator (not meaning low iq god but that the universe was created by something without will or thought of some kind) to generate a universe without order. I wouldn’t expect a thoughtless creator to spawn a universe in which the underlying equation for the wave function is linear. In that scenario, I wouldn’t expect there to be a wave function at all.
