Mathematics and Logic as Metaphysics

I think that mathematical ideas are the real Metaphysics. That’s because they are simultaneously discoverable by abstract reasoning rather than experience, frequently discovered independently in Europe and Asia, and effective at predicting physical ocurrences. For an example of something discovered by abstract reasoning and used by physics, there is riemannian geometry, which Einstein used in his General Relativity, there is the square of X, which was known well before Newton discovered that kinetic energy goes up as the square of speed, there is the base of natural logarithm, which was discovered by Euler and known as Eulers number long before it was used in the rocket equation.And Leibniz discovered calculus independently of both newton and any research on physical objects such as orbits. These are examples of when a mathematical discovery was made by a mathematician with a sheet of paper and no clue it has any relevance to the world around him, to be later used by physics to predict the behavior of real objects.
